Hello

From a young age I was always into sports including golf, kickboxing, swimming and Dance but as time went on my parents noticed I seemed to be getting injured and I was forced to stop.  I maintained my fitness levels by joining a gym and attending fitness classes including Pilates but by the age of 23 I became bed ridden with an Autoimmune/Autonomic Nervous System disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.  The doctors encouraged me to attend Pilates sessions at a comprehensive studio to get me back on my feet and voila!  My passion for Pilates, health and fitness began and I now want to help others attain their personal fitness goals. 

 

I studied to become a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor while working part-time in administration roles and when I became fully qualified in 2017 I became fully self-employed and I haven't looked back since. 

 

My qualifications are:

Clinical and Classical (Traditional) Pilates Instructor incl. equipment 600 hours 

GP Exercise Referral Specialist

Injury Rehabilitation (including neurological and orthopaedic conditions)

Personal Trainer

Pre/Postnatal exercise

Paediatric fitness

Older Adults Exercise

I now offer 1:1/2:1 sessions at my home studio in Chellaston and work alongside local Physiotherapists to help people with their rehabilitation needs.  You can also find me in local studios teaching mat and equipment sessions and I also hold my own community classes (available live or via Zoom).  You can pay as you go or join one of my memberships which includes pre-recorded videos, members only area and access to both of my classes every week.
